In response to his meeting with Shin Bet chief David Zini and Noam Solberg, chairman of the Central Election Commission, opposition leader Yair Lapid gave the following message regarding the suspicions of Qatari interference in the elections: "According to the information I received and with the authorities responsible for the case I received and with the treatment. There is no threat to the results of the elections, there is no doubt about their validity and there is no preventing the newly elected members of the Knesset from starting their duties and being sworn in."
