Democrats can still pick up three more seats in the Senate. To actually remove Trump from office after impeachment, a two-thirds majority in the Senate would be required. This means that with 57 Democratic seats, at least ten Republicans will still have to vote with the Democrats. However, I seriously doubt that will happen. Republicans have had more than enough time to stand up to Trump, criticize him or vote against him. But they did none of these things. Being the gentile cattle that they are, they surrendered to him unconditionally and were punished for it by the voters.
