In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, a press release on the 109th anniversary of the ominous Balfour Declaration: Our people will remain firm on their land, hold firmly to their rights, land and holy sites, and continue to defend them until liberation and return. Israel's crimes and its colonial plots will not succeed in erasing our national identity or undermining the historical rights established in our peoples. The anniversary of the ominous "Balfour Declaration" comes this year when the occupation worsens its aggression and crimes in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and Jerusalem. Our people in Gaza live in a real tragedy and ongoing genocide, while our Palestinian people in the West Bank and in Jerusalem are faced with dangerous Judaizing projects and programs that violate all international laws and conventions, against a background of international silence and inaction to put an end to this rising Israel. Today marks one hundred and nine years since the greatest crime committed against a people in modern history, perpetrated by the British government through the so-called "Balfour Declaration" - a promise by those who do not own it to those who do not deserve it. The colonial mentality still controls this usurping entity and its fascist government to this day, through a policy of killing, siege, starvation and displacement directed against our people in Gaza, and in the cities, villages and camps of the West Bank. We in the Hamas movement, on the 109th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, confirm the following: First: The "Balfour Declaration" and the subsequent political crimes against our people, our rights and our historic land, and the crimes of killing, displacement, ethnic cleansing and deportation committed by Israel since that ominous declaration until today, will not succeed in erasing our just cause or our legitimate rights of will.
