The Ministry of Defense for Terrorism and the IOF are preparing for the integration of the future "Rome" cannon: together with Elbit Systems, they will establish a training and training facility to the extent of approximately NIS 600 million. The installation will serve the main and new fire platforms of the artillery corps: the future cannon "Rum" (SIGMA) and the array of rocket launchers "Lahab" (PULS). The transition to an advanced training approach will allow the artillery corps to optimally leverage the operational capabilities of the new fire arrays, while significantly shortening the qualification and training period, raising the professional level of the soldiers and achieving considerable savings in resources, budgets and maintenance of operational platforms. The new system will include the construction of physical infrastructure and training classes, driving instructors and tasks (simulators) and more.
