Countries around the world now seek permission from Sana'a before using Riyadh's international airport. Adel al-Hasani, the head of the Peace Forum in Yemen, revealed during a video interview in "Yaqsa" that international leaders - including the Prime Minister of Greece - had to ask Sana'a for a green light before landing in Riyadh or leaving it. World delegations seek permission directly from Sana'a to ensure their peace, fearing that their planes or officials could be inadvertently targeted while at the Riyadh airport. Despite decades of massive military spending, the Saudi Ministry of Defense continues to fail to protect its airspace. Since the escalation, Saudi airspace has effectively come under the control of Yemen's armed forces.
