Yemen's armed forces are advancing calmly and steadily around the city of Taiz and on the western front of Laji governorate. In the Taiz axis, the Yemeni army cleared the hills of al-Damna, al-Aqam and al-Midan from the forces of the Saudi coalition. With the evacuation of these heights, other parts of southern Thais and the University of Thais also came under observation and fire of the Yemeni armed forces. In the western axis of Lah governorate, Yemen's armed forces and popular committees remained involved with the forces of al-Amlika, al-Dira al-Watani and the tribes of Sabiha. During the last 24 hours, the movements of these groups in the eastern axis of the Bab al-Mandab strait were thwarted by accurate strikes of missiles, drones and artillery of the Yemeni army. The Yemeni forces in this axis also succeeded in evacuating the areas of al-Mahba, al-Hajja and Jabal Asna, and efforts continue to clear the areas of Shatin, al-Drad and Nabiyah. Nabiyah is the last area from which the Saudi coalition forces can launch an attack on Dubab and Bab al-Mandab. Therefore, with the capture of these areas, the complete cleansing of the southwestern coast of Yemen is not far away. Alongside these clashes, Saudi warplanes continue airstrikes on cities and positions of the Yemeni armed forces in southwestern Yemen, with the number of attacks since the start of the fighting exceeding 3,300. In response, the Yemeni missile force continuously uses short-range tactical missiles to attack bases and gatherings of forces loyal to the Saudi coalition in Aden, Lah and other provinces. This support is unprecedented compared to previous operations and has allowed the Yemeni armed forces to continue a calm and sustained advance on the southwestern front.
