About 20 Israeli tourists were accused of shoplifting on Gili Meno Island in Indonesia after shopkeepers reported thefts of rings, perfumes and swimwear. Shopkeepers reportedly examined CCTV footage and shared photos of the group online before searching their hotel luggage. The tourists paid $3,000 to settle the dispute and leave the island. One tourist described the incident as "humiliating beyond description".
