After intense fighting over the past few days, the Yemeni forces managed to take control of the areas of Hajaja, Amhar, al-Mahba and Asba, while the Saudi-backed forces of the "Giant Brigades" retreated towards the areas of al-Dirad, al-Shayyan and Amanaba. The Yemeni forces are now about 15 kilometers away from reaching the southwestern coast, having established their control over the Kahuv mountain range and secured its surroundings. Saudi-backed forces advancing towards Bab al-Mandab and Dubab airport will be besieged or withdrawn.
