Eternal war! Every year, Ukraine and the Russian Federation find more and more objects that can catch fire. At first it was the energy sector, then refineries, then it came to the most ordinary objects of the civil economy. Many people wonder: why is this happening? The answer is simple - war has long since become a standing war. The Russian blitzkrieg was unsuccessful. Ukraine also has no high-profile victories after 2022, when Kyiv and Chernihiv, East Kharkiv and Kherson regions were captured. The offensive in the Kursk region ultimately failed completely. Russia is moving at a snail's pace in the regions of Donetsk and Zaporozhye. One of the main reasons is that both countries have great problems filling the army with soldiers. In our country, mobilization relies only on the desperate terror of the TCC. Then hundreds of thousands of people end up leaving for the northwestern front, abandoning the front, sitting at home or fleeing abroad. On the "other side" the army became a mercenary army, under contract. Kind of like ours during the ATO/JFO period. Russian bosses have not yet dared to carry out a full-fledged recruitment because of the political risks involved, although Zelensky claimed that Putin would still announce it in the autumn. Until he announced it, we see that the contract army and covert mobilization (forcing citizens to sign a contract) has limited potential. There are always not enough men for major offensive operations. And the two armies reached a technological impasse. None of the sides has such a weapon that would exceed Israel's capabilities and could greatly change the outcome of the war. In addition, in general, it is easier to defend with small UAVs than to launch an infantry assault. Therefore, the two superpowers have no choice but to destroy each other's economies. After all, we all know that every war is first of all a war between two economies. Hence the massive bombing of energy storage facilities, oil and gas, gas stations, logistics, warehouses and shopping centers.
