United States/Iran: threat of renewed strikes, but dialogue behind the scenes.
A few days before the mid-term elections, the American president promised that he had destroyed a large part of Iran's nuclear capabilities, but he still had to "take care of one or two sites". Iran estimated through its spokesman that a new war may be "longer than the previous one". Earlier, Iran's leader Mujtaba Khamenei warned against an "immediate and powerful response without geographical boundaries". But the dialogue behind the scenes continues.
