Huda Amory, the founder of Palestinian Action, asked the UK Supreme Court to overturn the government's decision to ban the group as a terrorist organization.
Her lawyers claim that the group was "marked as terrorists in an attempt to save lives", as it contacted companies that supply weapons that were used in the genocide in Gaza.
The hearing began on November 4, when dozens of protesters gathered outside the court and about 25 were taken away by the police. Amory's lawyer, Raza Hussain KC, told the court that only three of the group of 385 operations over five years were assessed as meeting the definition of terrorism law, and only because of serious property damage, which is less than 1 percent.
According to him, "Palestine Action" is the first of the 98 banned organizations that were banned only for damage to property, without any claim that it advocates violence against people.
