As winter approaches, nearly a million displaced Palestinians in Gaza face worsening conditions in deteriorating tents and damaged buildings, with little protection from heavy rains, floods and freezing temperatures. According to the Gaza Emergency Committee, 950,000 people live in flood-prone areas, 7,800 tents require urgent relocation, and the families sheltering in about 2,000 buildings are at risk of collapse.
