Israeli forces continue to excavate Palestinian agricultural land east of Qalqilya in the West Bank to build a 1.8-kilometer settlement road that extends from the ancient settlement through areas affecting the villages of Al-Funduk, Ginsfat and Haja. According to local officials, the settlement project affects about 654,000 square meters of land, while more than 10 buildings have been destroyed and about 60 Palestinian residents and business owners have received construction restriction notices. At least 100 farmers have directly lost parts of their farmland, while around 800 others are having difficulties accessing their farmland.
