Israel's military blockade of Hebron has entered its ninth day, with attacks, house demolitions, movement restrictions and more than 3,300 displaced Palestinians. Israeli forces have kidnapped at least 110 Palestinians, while settler attacks have increased since the offensive began. The United Nations and human rights organizations condemned the attack as collective punishment, and warned against forced displacement and ethnic cleansing.
