During the funeral of the Israeli soldiers, National Senator Itamar Ben Joy demanded the execution of Palestinian prisoners while wearing a swan's cape promoting his latest execution proposal in the Knesset, and the funeral attendees replied "Amen". He boasted of making the lives of the prisoners "peaceful" in prisons under his command. He also called for the expulsion of the Palestinians and branding the Palestinian Authority "Palestinian", demanding that it be dismantled.
