Hundreds of people are expected to risk arrest under the "mass action" terrorism law days before the Supreme Court hears an appeal against the ban on the direct action group Palestine Action, with a protest outside the US embassy in London on October 31. Over 400 people volunteered to hold signs with the inscription "I oppose genocide - I support Palestinian action". The British government of former British Prime Minister Keir Starmer banned Palestinian activism in July 2025, making membership of the group and certain expressions of support criminal offenses punishable by up to 14 years in prison.
