The Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine: We see the following British governments as legally and morally responsible for the consequences of the Balfour Declaration and the tragedies and displacement that befell our people. We confirm the adherence of our people to their right to resistance in all its forms, including armed resistance, and to the right of return, which is not subject to the statute of limitations. We emphasize that the steadfastness of our people in Gaza, the West Bank, Jerusalem, in the interior and in the Diaspora will thwart plans to uproot and eliminate the Palestinian cause. We confirm that our people have the historical right to their land, and that international promises and agreements will not detract from their inalienable rights. We call on the Arab and Islamic nation and the free people of the world to redouble their support for the Palestinian people and confront Israel's settlement policy. We affirm that peace and stability will not be achieved without the end of Israel, the restoration of Palestinian rights and the imposition of responsibility on those responsible for its crimes.
