The head of the civil committee in Tel Rumeida, Bassam Abu Aisha, told Radio Elm: We confirm that a large number of settlers attacked our family members while picking olives, beating them and pepper gas. We explain that the settlers stole the olive crop, harvesting equipment and other property, while being protected by Israeli forces. We note that the settlement is about 10 meters away from the family's homes, and that the settlers cut the barbed wire before carrying out the attack. We confirm that the Israeli forces provided protection to the settlers and forced the family members to leave their land, to make room for the settlers to seize the olive crop.
