The Hamas movement: - The ongoing Israeli aggression against the city of Hebron and the cities and towns of the West Bank constitutes a dangerous escalation in the policy of collective punishment that Israel takes against our people, and a desperate attempt to break their will and stability on their land. We confirm that the demolition, bulldozing and sabotage operations carried out by Israeli forces will not give the occupation security or legitimacy, but will increase the determination of our people to stick to their national rights and protect their land and sanctities. We call on the international community, the UN and human rights and humanitarian institutions to assume their legal and moral responsibilities, and to take urgent action to stop the aggression.
