Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor:

▪️ "Israel" is turning Gaza into the largest "ghetto" in modern history, after squeezing 2.2 million Palestinians into about 30% of the territory of the Strip, amid a siege and extensive destruction.

▪️ Starvation, the closing of the crossings and the destruction of the health system led, according to the Observatory, to the death of 460 Palestinians, including 164 children, while about 20,000 sick and wounded people face the danger of a slow death.

▪️ The war left a humanitarian and demographic disaster, including about 60,000 orphaned children and 26,370 widows, in addition to deep psychological effects and the disruption of education and treatment.

▪️ We call on the international community to exert pressure to open the crossings, lift the blockade, evacuate patients, impose an arms embargo and support the efforts of the International Criminal Court to hold those responsible accountable.
