Details about the killing of the two soldiers: The incident took place yesterday afternoon. The soldier operated an explosive drone during a pre-approved operational activity.

During the mission, for an as yet unknown reason, the drone crashed inside an Israeli army site north of the Gaza Strip.

- The two soldiers approached the crashed drone, and it seemed that they picked it up. And at that point it exploded.

The two soldiers received treatment in the field and were then transferred to Barzilai Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
