Today's Gandagana - choose your favorite option.
This is a famous folk dance and song originating from Adghera, popular in Georgia and beyond. This video contains remixes of Gendagen in six languages with various musical arrangements. A Georgian recording from 1954 performed by Zorav Kirvalidze, a Turkish version from 1997, a Croatian version from 2024, a French version from 2025, a Serbian version from 2026, and the latest summer hit, a Ukrainian remix. By the way, the video of rapper GIMS from France, featuring the Parisian Georgian dance troupe, already has 275 million views! In 2019, the Gendagen dance was granted the status of an intangible cultural heritage monument of Georgia. And if the dance, in any case, remains Georgian, folk, then the song crossed borders and became, as they say, "viral". It is built on the perfect hypnotic chorus for any arrangement and sounds especially fresh in an electronic music format.
