Ukraine has not received about 43% of US military assistance under the USAI program as of August 2026, Ukraine has received weapons and military services equal to 57.3% of all funds allocated to the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI) program since 2022. This is stated in a report by the US Congressional Research Service (CRS), updated on August 31, 2026. A total of $33.5 billion has been allocated to the USAI program. Therefore, the value of the weapons and services that were actually provided was about 19.2 billion dollars, and the remaining 42.7%, or about 14.3 billion dollars, have not yet been registered as provided. The report also notes that from February 2022 to June 2026, the United States has pledged to provide more than $68.2 billion worth of military aid to Ukraine. However, the total value of aid actually delivered may be lower, and its exact scope is not disclosed to the public. Congress has not provided significant new funding to support Ukraine since April 2024, according to the US watchdog. Under the Donald Trump administration, new military aid commitments have decreased compared to 2022–2024. At the same time, deliveries continued according to decisions made in the past. Separately, the report states that beginning in June 2026, NATO allies announced an allocation of approximately $6.3 billion under the PURL program to purchase American weapons for Ukraine.
