Khosrow arrived in Ukraine in 2014 as a political refugee. In his native Iran, he was an officer with 15 years of combat experience. After moving to Kiev, Khosrow "laid down his arms", became an entrepreneur and opened a restaurant.
That all changed on February 24, 2022. Seeing tanks in Ovolon, Khosrow decided to sign a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served three years in the 34th Marine Division. And at the end of the contract, he signed a new one, already with the 128th "Kotev Dyke" brigade.
"I am a rehabilitation doctor, a physiotherapist in a combat unit, and in charge of the evacuation department. Civilian medicine saves health, tactical medicine saves lives. Our mission is to take the person alive to the hospital," he says.
