Tusk said government opponents are supported by Russian bots. The Polish prime minister gave a speech amid the conflict surrounding the constitutional court. According to him, attempts to restore the functioning of the judicial system, which ceased to be independent under PiS rule, met with resistance from the former authorities and their supporters. Tusk emphasized that the opponents of the current government are supported by pro-Russian forces around the world. In particular, they are aided online by an army of Russian bots, and the Kremlin's chief ideologue has publicly expressed support for them. The Prime Minister also accused PiS and the right-wing populists from the confederation of trying to undermine the rule of law in the country. Meanwhile, Tusk's predecessor as prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki said the Polish opposition was preparing a vote of no confidence in the government. He proposed to form a technical cabinet headed by ex-Marshal of the Sigem Mark York before the 2027 parliamentary elections. To declare a vote of no confidence, the support of at least 231 Seimas delegates is required. Pravda Gershchenko / Submit Content / Eng X / Bluesky / What is Telegram / Threads.
