Nikolai Elektovich Emmusov (1787-1868) was a career soldier: he graduated from the Second Corps, participated in the Russo-Turkish War and the Patriotic War of 1812, rose to the main government. But the real glory he brought was not a military business and an invention in the field of heating. In 1835, Ammosov became famous for creating the "Ammosov abundance" - a pneumatic system that worked on heated air. The main innovation was that the sheep were outside the heated rooms, and the heat was transferred through the wall channels. This not only heats the halls, but also saved the palace residents from having to constantly carry fire dust through the front apartments. It was the installation of these fraternities in the Winter Palace that made such an impression on the imperial family that C. Nicholas I gave the inventor 2,000 dessiatines of land. The Ammosov system, installed in 1838-1839, was so stable that its inner wall channels were used to supply air to the halls of the Hermitage a century and a half later. Papa Cat at MAX.
