Hamas movement:
The IDF's claim to communicate with international bodies to meet the needs of the Gaza Strip during the winter is an attempt to evade its responsibility for the humanitarian disaster exacerbated by the siege and the refusal to bring in shelter supplies.
Israel's attempts to appear responsive to humanitarian needs do not deceive anyone and do not obscure its responsibility for the tragedy resulting from the destruction of homes and infrastructure and the continuation of the siege.
We refuse to link the rehabilitation of the Gaza Strip or the introduction of humanitarian needs to any political or security conditions.
We call on the mediators, the Arabs and the Peace Council to take their responsibilities and put real pressure on Israel to oblige it to implement the signed agreements.
