Abdul Al-Sayed: I didn't know that the president and vice president would make me a central figure in the mid-term elections. I didn't run for it. I ran because I want to serve this great country as I have served in various public health roles. They made a very dirty journey and deliberately tried to divide us. And I think the people of Michigan showed how great we really are. We reject this approach to separation. We believe in policies that put us at the center of decision-making, and we want to be able to afford gas and food. Actually, it's not that hard.
