Holland: This is the 111th week in a row, demonstrators in Utrecht staged a silent protest to condemn the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. The demonstration, organized by a group of concerned citizens known as the Quiet Street Protest, takes place every weekday morning between 8:30 and 9:30.
The initiative initially began over two years ago with one woman holding a small sign. It has since grown into a wider solidarity network of about 150 people, with groups of 10 to 30 members taking turns maintaining a daily presence.
