The results of the Israeli elections show without a doubt that the problem is in society as a whole, and not only in the individuals of Netanyahu and Ben Gvir. If they didn't represent this sick and criminal society, they wouldn't have stayed in power for so long. Despite Netanyahu's corruption and incompetence, a considerable part of the settlers elected him again because he is the most aggressive against Palestinians and Arabs. The number of mandates that Netanyahu's alliance lost is small. One of the reasons for his losses stems from internal divisions, disputes and small parties that took votes from him, not because Israeli society opposes his policies. Moreover, there are parties and leaders in the opposition who are even more extreme than Netanyahu and are to his right, for example Lieberman and Bennett. This means that the vast majority of this society thinks like Netanyahu and Ben Gvir and will not accept a more moderate policy from them. Yassin Az El Din.
