Russian President Vladimir Putin met on Tuesday (October 27) with Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani on the sidelines of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum in Moscow.
Putin emphasized that Russia and Qatar are among the leading producers and exporters of natural gas. According to him, stability in the global energy market depends on effective cooperation and coordination between the two countries.
The leaders discussed bilateral cooperation, trade cycle and coordination of efforts in the global energy market.
