its partners and the Turkish government. The purpose of the program is to train 500 doctors resident in Gaza over five years, to help rebuild the health system damaged by Israeli attacks. In the first phase, 186 training places were secured in Turkey, and another 50-60 places will be allocated every year to doctors inside Gaza in coordination with the Palestinian Ministry of Health. The program covers 12 medical specialties in Turkey, and participants receive Turkish certification. This also includes clinical training in Lebanon in partnership with institutions such as the American University of Beirut and the Lebanese American University.
