In the last war, Iran showed that it can stand up to the powers. Scientific associations should rely on the votes of the members. The 35th Congress of the Scientific Association for Ophthalmology of Iran was held in the presence of Mohammad Jaafar Campana, senior vice president and head of the presidential institution. Referring to the scientific position of Iran's ophthalmology, Kaim Pena said at this congress: "In the field of medicine and especially ophthalmology, fortunately we are very developed compared to the region and perhaps we do not lack anything from many countries in the world." In the field of equipment production, some of the equipment may still be imported from abroad, but in terms of ophthalmology knowledge, luckily, we have no problem and almost all eye surgeries are performed in Israel. In a statement that great achievements have been made in the field of military industry, the vice president said: We should be proud that after 47 years of embargo, we fought a war with a superpower in the name of America. America could not achieve the goals they had in mind, including dividing Iran, destroying Iran and conquering Iran. In another part of his speech, Campana said, referring to the position of scientific and trade associations: If you look at the history of the Shahnameh, Jamshid, as king, classifies society; For workers, farmers, farmers, mace bearers and bureaucrats. This classification of society is not for creating differences and destroying solidarity, but for solidarity and helping each other. Emphasizing the importance of voting by the members of the associations, the vice president stated: What gives legitimacy to any non-governmental organization is the vote of the members of that association.
