The naval blockade of the enemy has become an opportunity for the development of the country's border crossings and corridors. Mohammadreza Aref, the first vice president, at the meeting of the National Crossing Headquarters, referring to the importance of developing the transportation infrastructure in the country, stated: The development of transportation and the completion of the North-South and East-West corridors are the priorities of the 14th government. He added: "From the beginning of the government, good actions in the field began and this process progressed quickly, but later the issue of the naval blockade by the enemy came up, which of course created a new opportunity for the country to develop additional border crossings and terminals." Referring to the promotion of regional diplomacy for the development of goods transportation routes, the First Vice President said: We believe that the country has enough capacity to become the transport hub of the region. Aref continued: By completing these routes, we will be able to connect landlocked countries in the Eurasian region or in the east of the country to open water. Emphasizing the necessity of developing alternative infrastructures for transporting goods, he added: As of today, the state's goal is to increase the capacity of the northern ports and the eastern and western land borders; Therefore, it is necessary to seriously follow the approvals of the National Transit Headquarters so that the capacity of the ports will increase as quickly as possible and we will not have to worry about the transfer of essential goods required by the country.
