We wish to stimulate the demand for knowledge-based technologies with the aim of reducing energy consumption Ismail Sekev Esfahani, head of the Organization for Energy Optimization and Strategic Management at the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding on the development of joint cooperation between the Organization for Energy Optimization and Strategic Management, the vice president for science, technology and knowledge-based economy and the Innovation and Prosperity Fund: the Strategic Organization for Energy Optimization and Management is a newly established organization, By order of the President, he is responsible for setting policy and regulation in this area and is supposed to help optimize and manage energy consumption in the country by using existing capabilities and integration mechanisms. Despite the sanctions and disruptions, we have achieved acceptable performance in the development of energy production capabilities and in some upstream areas we have also achieved exceptional technologies, but we face serious problems in the field of energy consumption. In recent years, the VP of Science and other departments in Israel have made great efforts in developing technology, and today we have achieved good results in many areas, but we have not been able to adjust the policy in such a way that an effective demand for the use of these services and technologies will be created. We want to stimulate the demand for knowledge-based services and new technologies in order to reduce energy consumption and increase energy efficiency, in cooperation with the Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy of the Presidency and the Innovation and Prosperity Fund. The three groups should strive for this goal in an integrated manner while relying on the existing capabilities and without creating new organizational structures.
