Shahin Akhundzadeh, Deputy Director of Research and Technology at the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, noted while explaining the details of this system: One of the system's requirements from state research, especially medical science research, is to what extent they have a role in solving problems and social impact. Fortunately, since 2014, the Ministry of Health has had a scientific measurement system through which we could monitor in real time the activity of faculty members in medical sciences universities in Israel. He added: Fortunately, after more than a decade has passed, we have added another tool to the scientific measurement system or the emerging system, which is the "Medicine Research Impact Monitoring System." On this basis, now, in addition to reviewing the articles, citations and the impact factor of the faculty members' activities, we can assess the social and economic impact of the research in order to solve the country's problems, which is considered a highly innovative measure.
