In Russia, uniform rules will be introduced for the operation of attractions: unregistered carousels will be banned State Duma Deputy, Maria Vasilkova, reported that the bill "on attractions" was unanimously accepted in the 2nd and 3rd readings. The document, initiated by the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, establishes uniform rules for the operation, state registration and accounting of attractions. The relevant committee of the State Duma for Industry and Commerce worked on it. The bill was supported by all regions. The reason for the development of the law was the increasing frequency of accidents and the fragmentation of the regional rules. The law will enter into force on March 1, 2027. The transition period will give regions, businesses and regulatory authorities time to prepare. Existing attractions must be registered before the new regulations come into effect. It will be prohibited to operate attractions without state registration and technical certification, as well as with an expired service life. Violations are subject to administrative, criminal and other liability in accordance with Russian legislation.
