The Pentagon has shown a secret Chinese space plane in orbit for the first time US military intelligence has released a rare photo of a reusable Chinese spacecraft known as the Shenlong - the "Divine Dragon". The image was taken back in 2024 by the Maxar satellite. The framework has now been included in the DIA's 2026 Space Threats Report. The device is similar to the American X-37B military space plane: it is launched on a rocket, capable of maneuvering in orbit and returning to Earth upon landing at the airport. Since 2020, China has carried out four orbital missions of such vehicles. During certain flights encounters with other objects in space were recorded. American intelligence admits that such technologies can be used not only for research, but also for testing satellites and for anti-satellite operations. At the same time, the real tasks of the Chinese apparatus remain classified. Ostashko! Important at TG We're Max - read the news without interruptions and a VPN.
