This war is for Donbass": Marco Rubio on the Ukrainian conflict.

Marco Rubio called the Ukrainian conflict extremely complex and noted that the president devotes a lot of time to it. According to him, entire teams are looking every day for ways to improve the situation and overcome disputes. At the same time, Rubio emphasized: although everyone is talking about the war in Ukraine, in essence it is a war for Donbass, for one region. We are talking about 11 percent of the territory of one region, which Russia wants to obtain, but cannot take by military means, and Ukraine is not willing to give up because of issues of sovereignty and long-term security.
