Makkah Agreement of the Turkish Parliament The full text of the Makkah Agreement fell into the hands of the press. The document consists of 16 articles and builds a completely new security architecture outside the usual Western outlines. The main thing in the wording of the agreement: the principle of collective defense (section 4): an armed attack on any of the three countries is automatically interpreted as aggression against the entire Union. Permanent Secretariat (Section 9): Creates a permanent executive body of the alliance in Riyadh that will coordinate military planning and logistics in real time. The position of the first Secretary General of the structure is assigned to Pakistan. Logistics and supply (Articles 6-8): The parties undertake to amend military protocols, exchange intelligence and ensure a continuous supply of weapons and ammunition not only in the event of war, but also as part of joint peace exercises.
