The UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Lebanon announced that 711,632 Syrians registered with the agency have returned to Syria since January 2025, noting that their cases have been deactivated from the agency's records.
The agency clarified that about 86% of the returnees, a total of 611,743 people, returned voluntarily, while 14%, or 99,889 people, received assistance to return to their country.
