A carp saved the lives of three fishermen in the southern Czech Republic. Three fishermen set up a tent for the night near a pond, they slept with a gas stove on, but carbon monoxide (a common, colorless and odorless gas resulting from incomplete combustion and highly toxic to humans) began to accumulate in the tent. A carp on the rod at midnight woke up one of the fishermen, who was not feeling well and called the ambulance, which saved them.
