New: Senior Rapid Support Force (RSF) commander Major General Sadiq Abdel Rahman Ander Arak has defected to the Sudan Armed Forces. Ender commanded the RSF's 15th Group and oversaw recruitment and conscription. In the video, he says he understood that the RSF serves a "pure family project" run by the Degalo family of RSF leader Muhammad Hamdan "Hamdati" Degalo, who he says controls the groups' money, weapons, fighters and ranks. He accused the leadership of punishing dissidents with deportation, imprisonment or secret execution, and urged other fighters to leave. He also announced a complete break with the Dagalo family and the RSF-led Tasis alliance. His defection follows several senior RSF defections in recent months.
