Rostov-on-Don will have its own aid agency The government has introduced a bill "On International Development Assistance" to the State Duma. Russia has helped other countries in the past with grain, loans and student education, but it has done so piecemeal and without uniform rules. Now the rules will appear, and all work will be coordinated by Rossotrudnichestvo in the capacity of the International Development Assistance Agency. The aid will not only be humanitarian. The law establishes preferential loans, transfer of technology and experience, projects in education and medicine. The Americans, through USAID, have been doing this for decades, and the time has come for us to do it systematically. Igor Haika heads Rossotrudnichestvo for only six months, and the agency is already getting its own law and a new status. Oleg Tsarev. Telegram and Max.
