Russia required Apple and Microsoft to store user messages and provide them to intelligence services on demand. Bloomberg companies are required to store correspondence of Russian users, audio and video messages and transfer this data to intelligence services upon request, as well as store information about users and the transmission of their messages for three years. If they do not meet the requirements, companies may be fined and eventually access to their services in Russia may be restricted.
