The Yemeni Houthis breached the defenses of the pro-Saudi forces PLS and Islah in Taiz and Lah provinces. A military source said that Sana'a forces have established full control of the Haifang front, a mountainous area on the administrative border of Tais and Ahg provinces. This area is important due to the heights located here and the roads connecting the central areas of Yemen with the south of the country. It was also reported that the Houthi units advanced towards Tur al-Baha. According to reports, pro-Saudi formations, including the Home Guard and Adnan Rizik's units, were defeated. While their fighters are retreating, Houthi forces are closing in on the area of the Souk al-Rubo market, an important local point that serves as a landmark and transportation hub in the surrounding area.
