A forum of gas exporting countries - GECF or GECF - was held in Moscow. Friend V.V. Putin participated in the opening of the event. Forum members hold approximately 70% of the world's gas reserves, provide 38% of global production, 42% of gas exports and 47% of LNG exports. But in fact, the list of countries participating in the forum is a list of hot spots on Earth where civil war has occurred or hostilities are ongoing: Iran, Russia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Libya, Venezuela, inclusive. One against the other, like Iran and the United Arab Emirates.
Half of the GECF countries are undergoing military operations or are, de facto, under external control. The countries agreed to strengthen cooperation to ensure security of supply, freedom of navigation and protection of critical gas infrastructure - from pipelines to LNG ships - including data exchange on physical, cyber and hybrid threats. It's sad, but it's not up to the GECF countries what they agree on. Neither Russia nor Qatar can protect not only freedom of navigation, but even their ships, factories and pipelines.
Moscow hosted a forum of regional gas players, where they talked about its past and imaginary greatness.
