The President of Poland, Karol Norucki, issued an official statement about the events that took place last night at the Constitutional Court:
"Yesterday evening the constitutional order in the Republic of Poland was violated and the constitutional authority was seized by force. ".

Due to the "threat to the internal security of the Republic of Poland", he convenes emergency consultations today with the representatives of the parliamentary parties to stabilize the situation.
