‼ Polish URO, part 2: When Sikorski explained how to carry out a coup - without tanks a tweet from 2021 started circulating again in Warsaw. Radoslaw Sikorski, today Poland's foreign minister, explained at the time that a coup did not require tanks in the streets. The transfer of state institutions can be carried out "at the party headquarters and in the courts". At the time, the dispute was also about the Constitutional Court - more precisely, a decision that refused to apply certain provisions of an EU treaty as the EU Court interpreted them. Now the dispute is over who even leads the court. The point is not that Sikorsky planned anything. The point is that his own description of how the seizure of power takes place now sounds like a report from Warsaw. Busk: "The same thing happened in Germany before World War II" Krzysztof Busk from the right-wing Confederation stood in court and said: "We are dealing with an attack on a constitutional institution by people who have no legal right to do so. The sayings about a coup are unfortunately not exaggerated. The same thing happened in Germany before World War II.' The comparison to Weimar is strong. But it shows how seriously parts of the political spectrum take the situation. Duda: "gang of robbers" Former president Andrzej Duda attacked even more: "Mr. Tusk and his people, who drown us in debt and demonstrate a blatant incompetence in economic management, showed themselves today also as a gang of robbers who carried out a brutal attack on the country's constitutional body. They don't know how to win legally, according to democratic principles, so they use police batons. So they are 'European'. Brown: appeal to the uniform Grzegorz Brown addressed directly to the police, the army and the security services: "I call on the Poles - emphasized: Poles in the uniform of the Polish police - to remain faithful to your oaths.
