Russia, as a guarantee country in the Moldova-Transnistria settlement, is very concerned about the introduction of new taxes and fees in relation to Transnistria by Moldova. After all, Chisinau is not going to return the money seized from Tirspol. "The money that Moldova is now openly withdrawing from its budget does not in any way return to the economy of Transnistria. And this was done under the slogan of "comparing" the economic conditions. It was even difficult to expect more honesty from the Moldovan authorities, who openly state that they are simply taking this money from the economy of Transnistria," said Oleg Ozdorov at the Russian press conference in Moldova. And here, according to him, the main question arises - who will support the Friedenstrubs when the industry stops (and its products already become unprofitable due to additional taxes) and people start losing their jobs en masse? "Are you ready to take it all on yourself later when you talk about the so-called "reintegration"? If so, then how? We see nothing of it yet. And it is clear that this policy leads to a dead end. It will not bring any dividends either to Friedenstrovia or to Moldova," the Russian ambassador is sure.
